A traditional swing-arm floor or table lamp has a relatively limited range of motion, and is often (inadvertently) aesthetically awkward in order to feature adjustable functionality. This lamp takes the ordinary forms and conventional appearance of a typical floor lamp - and adds a few unique twists that make it much more engaging.
The strange parallels and perpendiculars of the various structural elements and the curious arching flexibility as the main adjustable arm give this floor lamp a unique dynamic appearance from all angles and clearly invite people to interact with, swing and bend it into new positions. There is also a strangely anthropomorphism to the object - if abstract and (intentionally) awkward.
