Behind a facade of glass is like a woven wooden basket closed the living and dining rooms of this house in Nara, Japan by Tadashi Yoshimura Architects . This woven wall can be used as a climbing frame for children from the client, but also serves as a partial screen that light can pass. Called Wood Block House, the building is lifted straight from the ground by stone walls. The house was designed for an elderly couple and their grandchildren who occasionally stay with them.
